Adding a customized tab link - example

This example describes the creation of a customized API link positioned within the customized tab 'Manufacturing_Details'. The link is named 'Show facility' and opens a trace details list displaying facility data.

  1. Click the drill down button on the customized tab ‘Manufacturing_Details’ in the API Interface Configuration panel.
  2. Click the Add link field button in the upper right corner
    Note:  The Step field contains 'Manufacture' and it is not editable.
  3. Specify 'CRS008MI-Facility' in the API program field.
  4. Specify 'Get-Get_-Facility' in the Transaction field.
  5. Specify 'Show_-Facility' in the Name field.
    Note: The Use tab as input field contains the customized tab named 'Manufacture_Details'' and it is not editable.
  6. On the API Input Configuration tab, specify 'Facility (Trace Panel)-TXT_FACI' in the required GLT Field field. All related facilities will be retrieved.
    Note: If you select 'Enter a value' option in the GLT Field field instead, and specify 'A01' in the Value column, only facility A01 data will be retrieved.
  7. On the API Output Configuration tab, select the check boxes in the Selected column to be displayed on the trace details list.
  8. Click the Save button to create API Interface Configuration.
    Results: A customized API link with the name 'Show facility' is positioned in the tab 'Manufacturing _Details' on the Manufacture Trace panel.
