System Administration panel

Before you run the initial database load

We recommend that you assign the GLTADMIN role to at least one user in M3 Business Engine before running the initial database load. Otherwise, after the initial database load, the System Administration panel is not accessible. After the initial database load, you can view the list of users who have the GLTADMIN role in M3 Business Engine. To view this list, in M3 Business Engine, select Administration Tools > Graphical Lot Tracker Administration and scroll to the Admin Users table.

If the GLTADMIN role has not been assigned to any user during the initial database load, then complete these steps:

  1. In M3 Business Engine, assign the GLTADMIN role to a user.
  2. From the M3 Business Engine taskbar, select Menu > Administration Tools > Graphical Lot Tracker Administration.
  3. On the application management pages, select Import MasterData.
  4. Click Start Import.
  5. After the import of the master data is completed, select Menu > Administration Tools > Graphical Lot Tracker Administration and confirm the setup of the GLTADMIN users in the Admin Users table.

See Interface between M3 Business Engine and M3 Graphical Lot Tracker.

You can configure the access to each subpanel per user group. See User group settings in M3 Graphical Lot Tracker.
