Panel Settings panel

You can use the Panel Settings panel to configure the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker user interface. The user interface includes various features, such as search panels, the trace step diagram, trace object descriptions, tabs, and reports.

See M3 Graphical Lot Tracker User Guide. .

The Panel Settings configuration applies to most fields and column headers of these feature objects, and you can set it differently per user group.

Feature objects on the Panel Settings panel are associated with a default set of attribute fields, column headers, data fields, and context message entities:

  • The Search panels show several predefined search attribute fields.
  • The Search panel result lists have layouts with predefined column headers.
  • The Trace Object Description section on the Trace panel shows a predefined set of data fields for the traced lot.
  • On the Trace panel, next to the Trace Step Diagram tab, the pre-configured standard tabs show trace object details data. Standard tabs have the GLT database specified as the data source, while other tabs get the data from M3 through M3 API’s. The standard tabs are configured in the Panel Settings panel.

See: Configuring standard tabs and M3 Graphical Lot Tracker User Guide.

Note: The customized tabs can be created and configured in the API Interface Configuration panel.
  • The layouts of the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker reports and exports are predefined.
  • The Infor OS Portal context widgets or Infor Ming.le® context applications in the right navigation panel subscribe to a default set of context messages from M3 Business Engine. See Infor Ming.le® Context Applications or Infor OS Portal Context Widgets.

The initial page of the Panel Settings panel shows nodes in which feature objects are nested based on the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker features. To expand a node and display the related feature objects, click the Plus sign (+) next to the node name. For example, to display the 'Blend' or 'Customer' feature object, expand the Trace Object Description node. Feature objects are displayed in a grid with these four columns:
