Adding and configuring display text values

In the Application Localization panel, you can configure the display text values of elements of the graphical user interface (GUI), such as labels, messages, and tooltips.

To support the maintenance of modifications in lists and panels, you can add display text values. For example, if an additional attribute is added to a panel, then you can add a display text value for this attribute.

You can translate display text values into various languages.

  1. From the Language list at the top of the Application Localization panel, select the target language.
  2. To modify or translate a display text value, select an entry and modify the value in the rightmost column.
The center column always shows the English value for reference. You cannot modify values in this column.
  3. To add an entry, click the Add button (+) at the top of the grid.
    Caution:
When adding display text values, always start by adding the text for English. After that, you can translate this text into other languages.
  4. To save changes, click Save. To discard changes, click Cancel.
  5. To delete an entry, select it and click Delete.
If a display text value is not translated into the user’s language, then the English value is used by default. You cannot delete values for English.
