Application Settings panel

The Application Settings panel shows the list of settings used within M3 Graphical Lot Tracker, and the default value for each setting. These settings are configuration settings for M3 Graphical Lot Tracker and can differ per user group, for flexibility and security purposes.

Note: Other settings used by M3 Graphical Lot Tracker are set during installation, but cannot be revised in the Application Settings panel. Thus, these settings are not displayed in the list.

If the Edit button is available for a setting, then you can revise the default value of the setting.

To copy a setting and its value from one user group to another, click Copy, then, optionally, change the setting value.

Initially, settings are limited to the default user groups, that is, the GLTADMIN and GLTCUST (limited amount) user groups. If other user groups are set up through M3 Business Engine, then these settings are available when you copy them from one of the available groups.

When an administrator creates a customized tab, a new key associated to that tab is generated in the Application Settings list. The format for it is .INTERFACE:TABS_<trace step>_<tab name> and the key is set to Disabled by default. See API Interface Configuration.
