Creating a language

M3 Graphical Lot Tracker administrators can create a user language that is not among the languages supported by M3 Graphical Lot Tracker. The new language must exist in Infor OS (Infor OS Portal). The Language list in the Create a new language dialog box shows the languages that you can select to create a language.

When you create a language, display text values and their translations into the supported languages are imported from M3 Business Engine by M3 Graphical Lot Tracker. The values that are specific to M3 Graphical Lot Tracker remain untranslated and you must manually translate them. In the Application Localization panel, untranslated values are prefixed by an asterisk (*) in the Value column. To show only untranslated values, you can specify an asterisk (*) in the filter field of the Value column.

  1. In the Application Localization panel, click the Create a new language button.
  2. In the Create a new language dialog box, select the new language from the Language list, then click OK.

The code of the new language is automatically selected in the Language list at the top of the Application Localization panel. The Value column shows the values for the selected target language. Untranslated values are prefixed by an asterisk (*) in this column.
