Reports
You can restrict access to M3 Graphical Lot Tracker reports per user or user group:
- To grant access to the Reports panel, enable the .INTERFACE:NAVIGATE_REPORT setting from the Application Settings panel.
- To grant access to the individual reports on the Reports panel: Group Hold Report, Rejected Transactions Report, and Manufacturing Order Audit Report, enable the INTERFACE:SEARCH_<report name> setting from the Application Settings panel. Access to the Lot Audit Report is granted by enabling the .M3REPORT:REPORT_LotAudit setting.
- To grant access to the trace object reports that are available from the Trace panel, enable the M3REPORT:REPORT_<report name> setting from the Application Settings panel.
To reclassify the current stock in M3 Business Engine, you can use the Group Hold Report, and the Stock Products and Stock Components reports. The .M3API:API setting in the Application Settings panel must be enabled.
The Stock Products and Stock Components reports are generated based on snapshot data from the M3 Business Engine table MITLOC that is stored locally in the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker database. The snapshot is updated at each data transfer. Depending on how often the data transfer is set to run, you might need to refresh these values, ad hoc, in these reports.
For example, when you perform a reclassification, the M3 Business Engine stock inventory values in the ‘On-hand’, ‘Alloc’, or ‘Sts’ columns in the report might have changed, which could have an impact on the expected outcome of the reclassification.
If the .M3API:REFRESHSTOCK setting is enabled in the Application Settings panel, then you can use the refresh function to show the current M3 Business Engine stock inventory values and M3 Business Engine balance status values in these reports. Before the next data transfer, the current values are displayed only temporarily, that is, only as long as the report is open. If you close and reopen the report, then you must use the refresh function so that the updated values are displayed again. After the next data transfer, the updated values are saved and permanently available.
This table shows the reports that have individual configuration:
