Search Panel

The various search panels specific to the M3 Trace Engine configuration allows you to locate a trace step ID by searching in quality data from M3 BE. The available panels are:

Search Panel Description
General Search

Trace step ID can be used for search by entering either part of, or the entire step ID. It is possible to filter the search by checking the 'Available Trace Steps' option and entering transaction dates.

Note:  Click header-text 'Available Trace Steps' to invert selected trace steps.
Purchase

Searches for trace objects related to purchase orders.

You can search by: warehouse, supplier, purchase order number, product number, lot number, lot reference 1, lot reference 2, supplier item number, alias number (EAN, GTIN, UPC or DUN), SSCC number and transaction date.

Production

Searches for trace objects related to manufacturing orders.

You can search by facility, work center, manufacturing order, product number, lot number, component number, component lot number, component lot ref 1, component lot ref 2, transaction date for component usage and transaction date for reporting production into stock.

Select the "Search 88888888% lots" check box to search for Manufacturing orders where backflush has caused negative stock, creating a negative stock lot number (888888..).

Stock

Searches for trace objects related to reclassifications, scrapping and blending.

You can search by warehouse, location, trace step (re-class, scrap or blend) product number, lot number, transaction reason and transaction date. Searching for re-classify objects can also be done by the new product and new lot number.

Sale

Searches for trace objects related to customer orders.

You can search by warehouse, customer, customer order number, product number, lot number, sublot reference ID, lot expiry date, alias number (EAN, GTIN, UPC, or DUN), shipment, route, forwarding agent, transportation ID department, SSCC number and transaction date.

You can check the 'View all Package Level' check box when the customer order uses different package levels.

Distribution

Searches for trace objects related to distribution orders.

You can search by sending and receiving warehouse, distribution order number, product number, lot number, shipment number, route, forwarding agent, transportation department ID and transaction date.

Lot

Searches for any trace object related to a lot number. The search is done among both from and to item and lot number.

You can search by product number, lot number, ref sublot ID, lot ref 1, lot ref 2, container, expiry and transaction date.

Attribute

Searches for trace objects with a combination of attribute values. The number of attributes to combine in a search can be set in the Graphical Lot Tracker configuration. The default is 5.

In addition to attribute values you can search by warehouse, item number and transaction date.
