A step ID identifies a specific step data.

step data

A step data displays all the available information on a specific trace step.

trace data

A trace data contains information about the movements and processes of a trace object in a production line.

trace line

A trace line describes and sets the rules on how a product can move from start to finish in a production line.

trace object

A trace object is a concrete item in the trace line.

trace panel

A trace panel displays search results or the result of the function activated in the menu bar.

trace relation

A trace relation describes the relationship between the trace steps. trace steps may be connected in any of the following ways:

• One to one

• One to many

• Many to one

• Many to many

trace route

A trace route may be any possible movement that an object can perform in a lifecycle.
