SQL calls outside the data load
Log for SQL calls outside the data load includes the following information:
-
System and database errors
-
System configuration
-
Database queries
The log file is a .txt file that is automatically generated in the %Install Package Root%\ GraphicalLotTracker\Log folder. This file uses the naming convention Prefix_YYYYMMDD.log, where Prefix is a variable that you can set in the configuration entry .TRACE:LOGPREFIX.
The parameter to enable or disable logging is .TRACE:WRITE_LOG. Logging is disabled when the system is installed. When enabled, the log files must be manually removed.

Core application
Log for Core application includes program and HTML related messages. All issues and informational messages will be logged by trace line in the database (SSystemLog table), and accessible for review in both Administrators Toolbox and web user interface. General system messages that are not related to a specific trace line are recorded in the system trace line 'Trace'.
Only critical issues are recorded by default. To enable a more detailed logging, enable the .CONFIG:DEBUGGING setting.
Note: It is also possible to retrieve log file information by executing the following SQL statement in SQL management studio:SELECT * FROM [Trace-M3TEnnnPPP]..SSystemLog ORDER BY timestamp DESC
In situations when the database table is inaccessible text files can continue to be utilized. The log file is automatically generated in the %Install Package Root%\GraphicalLotTracker\Log folder using the naming convention GraphicalLotTracker_TraceLine.web.log (e.g. GraphicalLotTracker_M3TE1PRD.web.log).
These files should be reviewed and truncated manually.
