Schedule Daily Processing
When a trace line is created, an entry is added to the schedule for the <trace-line>_All_Data job. The schedule is named in the same way as the job and the default setting is not enabled. To ensure up-to-date data for the trace line, the job schedule must be enabled immediately after the result of the initial load is verified, either from the Configuration tool, or if a more complex schedule is required, from the SQL Server Agent.
- Use the action Schedule Daily Processing to set the schedule to run once a day or hourly, every second, fourth, eight or twelfth hour. This is achieved by specifying a start date and time for the last run (if the schedule should run longer than a day). In addition, the function allows the schedule to be enabled or disabled.
-
For more complex schedules, configure the schedule in SQL Server Agent:
- Open SQL Server Management Studio > SQL Server Agent and double-click Job Activity Monitor.
- Double-click to open the Trace-M3TEnnnPPP_All_Data job and schedule to retrieve all types of data at least once per night. Infor recommends adding an e-mail notification to inform the administrator in the times of job failure.
- If required, set individual schedules on Master, Order and Transaction data to allow a more frequent retrieval of transaction data.
