M3 API using Sockets

Open the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker Configuration Tool and perform the following steps for each Trace Line that should use M3 API:

  • Set configuration value for .M3API:API to 'Enabled'.

  • Ensure configuration value for .M3API:REST is 'Disabled', as it will implicitly disable M3 API using sockets if enabled.

  • Enter configuration values for .M3API:System and .M3API:Port.

  • Enter value for 'Partner', as set in 'Stock Message Partner. Open' (MMS865), for configuration value .M3API:E0PA

    Note:  The Message Direction should be set to 'Input', and the Message Type should be set to 'WMS', when setting up the Stock Message Partner in (MMS865).

  • Optionally, set up user and password, if reclassification operations should be impersonated.
