M3 Graphical Lot Tracker Bookmarks

Bookmarks in M3 Graphical Lot Tracker facilitates adding URL links to a data element in the Trace Explorer web page. The URLs are entered in the file given in the parameter .INTERFACE:BOOKMARKFILE.

M3 Graphical Lot Tracker is delivered with a number of bookmarks allowing the user to access the same data element in the applicable M3 Business Engine program via Infor Ming.le or Infor Smart Office.

If Graphical Lot Tracker is running within Infor Smart Office, when clicking the link of a lot number, the information for this lot is opened in MMS235. To enable this functionality, the parameter .M3SYS:LSOSTARTPOINT must be set with the right base URL to Infor Smart Office external bookmark.

Note: To find the address, create an external bookmark by using the option Copy External Link to Clipboard and past the entry into a document.

If Graphical Lot Tracker is running within Infor Ming.le, the application will try to open the bookmark in the M3 H5 Client. To enable this functionality, the parameter .M3SYS:WORKSPACEID must be set to the Infor Ming.le logical id of the M3 H5 Client. Typically the id starts with lid://infor.m3 followed by an instance id (e.g. lid://infor.m3.1).
