To configure M3 timeout in WAS

  1. Configure the API timeout setting for your M3 server as required (see your M3 documentation for details).
  2. Log in to the WebSphere Administration Console and navigate to Resource Adapters > MovexJca > J2C Connection Factories.
  3. Open the first connection factory and then go to Connection Pool.

WebSphere manages the API connection using the built-in connection pool functionality.

  4. Set the Aged Timeout to a value several minutes shorter than the one configured for the M3 server (we recommend ten minutes shorter).

Repeat for all connection factories (MRS001MI, OIS100MI, OIS320MI, etc.)
