Step 1: Creating a new application

To create a new application

  1. Click File > New > New Registered Application.

    The New Registered Template Application window appears.

    This option starts a new project based on an Infor e-Business Suite application already installed on your computer. You will be asked to choose from a list of currently installed and registered e-Business Suite applications. The new project will begin as a default version of the registered application you choose, with all of the required presentation pages, business objects, data sources and application settings.

  2. Select a template application and click Next.
  3. In the Project and Application Details window, set the following:
    Eclipse Project Name

    The project folder name that will be used when the application is saved in your workspace.

    Application Name

    The name that you want to be used when the application is deployed.

  4. In the Presentations list from the source application, select all check boxes. Then click Finish to complete the process.
