Establishing agreements

  1. Log on to the Business Center as a merchant administrator.
  2. Click the Application Setup:Legal Agreements link in the navigator.
  3. Click Create New.
  4. On the Legal Agreements Details page, specify the following details:
    Field Description
    Version Enter a number for the agreement. An agreement is recognized by this number.
    Country Select the country for which this agreement is applicable. Leave this field blank if you want to create a generic agreement.
    Activated

    Select the status of the agreement. If you select "Yes", the agreement is presented to the buyer during the order flow. Users must accept the agreement before finalizing their order. If you select "No", the agreement is not displayed.

    Note: You cannot deactivate an activated agreement.
    Language Select the language in which the agreement should be displayed.
    Agreement Text Enter the agreement text.
  5. Click Save.
