Assigning contacts to customers

Once you have established the list of available contact groups, you must assign an actual email address to each group for each customer.

To assign contacts to a customer:

  1. In the B2B setup, click the Users > Customers B2B link in the navigator.

    In the B2C setup, click the Users > Customers B2C link in the navigator

    This section includes information about all customers who use the application. To view details of a customer, click its name in the Customer Name field.

  2. Scroll down to the Contacts section of the Customer Details page.

    You can see a list for each of the contact groups you established. The list shows the name of each user registered with the merchant company (the company that is running the Infor e-Commerce application).

  3. Choose a name in each category.

    Optionally, you can add another address in the extra field provided; this is added as a "CC:" address.

  4. Repeat the above procedure to establish a contact person for each customer.
