Customer users

Customer users are broadly divided into:

  • Single-customer users

    These users are associated with a single company and can login as an employee of the company to submit orders. Conceptually, this is just a special case of the multi-customer user (see below).

  • Multi-customer users

    These users can login as an employee of more than one company, primarily to be able to submit orders. The idea of the multi-customer user is that he/she is spared the inconvenience of having to login separately as an employee of each company. The multi-customer user is, then, typically a common purchaser for the companies with whom he/she is associated.

    Both single-customer users and multi-customer users are listed in the Users area of the Business Center. All customer users are assigned the role that has the "Customer User" role type.

Note: Customer users do not have their own address information; this is inherited from the reseller company to which the user is associated.
