Self-registered user upgrades

A self-registered user might also request to be made a business partner, in which case they are probably be contacted by a representative from the merchant company so that a customer account can be created for them.

In the Business Center, the Single User Details page provides the Upgrade to Business Partner option, which makes it easy to upgrade self-registered users to resellers. When you select this option, a new customer is created with the current user’s address as the new user’s billing address. The user is then upgraded to a customer representing a reseller company. The button brings you to the Customer Details page, which you can then use to correct the details as required (see Customer data for details about how to work with this page). The search form shown when you first enter the Users:Single Users B2B area allows you to search for single users who have requested to be made resellers.
