Single users
Single users are users who are self-registered after initially using the Customer Center with the "Guest" (not logged in) account; they are not associated with any customer company. The Customer Center provides a form that enables new users to register themselves. They can self-register from login page by clicking Register.
A new user can register with the site by providing mandatory information like his name, valid e-mail address, and a password. After which, the user is automatically logged into the Customer Center. If a user does not specify the necessary information during registration, all necessary values for the user account is taken from the default values specified in Application Details page of the Business Center.
Users registered in this way are treated as single users. All users registered through the B2B Customer Center is listed in the Users:Single Users B2B area of the Business Center. Similarly, all users registered through the B2C Customer Center is listed in the Users:Single Users B2C area of the Business Center.
The registration form includes the same input fields as the Single User Details page of the Business Center. See "Single User Settings" on page 46 for more details. If the shopping cart has items at the time of registration, it is retained on automatic log on.
