What is Infor Document Management?

Infor Document Management allows customers to store business documents connected to Infor M3 objects and make them available in the Infor user interface. It provides a versatile solution for storing, sharing, reusing, and archiving digital content.

This product reduces the time and cost for searching documents. IDM is secure, allowing users to add security and permissions down to individual pieces of the document.

For Infor e-Commerce, you can use IDM to attach or relate item images, related documents, and part drawings/diagrams to item/equipment records in the M3 BE. Basically you create document links - linking a document to an item or equipment in M3 BE. These links are used when displaying item details. For example, if you linked an image to an item, Infor e-Commerce will use that image in the item details page. If you linked several documents to an item, these documents are listed in the Related Documents tab of the item details page.
