Tell a friend about an item in Infor e-Commerce

Note: This feature is available only in the standard Infor e-Commerce B2C setup.

Both registered consumer users and guest users can send a mail to other users informing about items in the Infor e-Commerce catalog.

  1. In the Customer Center, browse through the categories and find the item about which you want to tell to other users.
    Note: If you are a registered user, log on to the Customer Center.
  2. Go to the Item Details page for that particular item.
  3. Click Tell A Friend.
  4. In the Tell A Friend page, enter the recipient’s e-mail address, sender’s e-mail address and sender’s name.

    Registered users are required to enter only the recipient’s e-mail address. The body of the e-mail is prefilled with a message including the item name, item ID, description and a link to the item details page; however, this text can be edited.

    Note: Administrators can customize the mail text, including the color of the body text, in the Business Center.

  5. Click Send.
