Order-collaboration messaging
Each time a user forwards an order to be completed by another user, the target user receives an e-mail. You can control the content of this e-mail, and enter any required translations, using the Application Setup:Texts area of the Business Center to modify the text for the ShareOrders.jsp page. For more details about order collaboration, see Order collaboration.
To customize the contents of the mail:
- Log on to the Business Center as a merchant administrator.
- Click the Application Setup > Texts link in the navigator.

In the Filter area, do the following:
- Enter "mail" in the Text Name field.
- Enter "ShareOrders.jsp" in the Page Name field.
- Click Search.
A list of all of the page texts defined for creating the e-mail confirmation is displayed on the ShareOrders.jsp page. These are detailed in the table below:
Text Name Purpose mailclosing Specifies the closing of the message body in each language (for example, "Sincerely, Infor e-Commerce" in English). mailcomment This is the label (for example, "Comment:") placed directly before the comment text added by the person who last worked on the shared order. This line appears in the body of the message. mailopening Specifies the opening word of the message in each language (for example, "Dear" in English, as in "Dear Colleague"). The name of the recipient is added automatically by checking the database record for the selected contact. mailsender This is the e-mail address that is shown in the "from:" field of the message (for example, "ordering@infor.com"). Usually, you must set this to a generic address for the system, thereby indicating an automatically generated mail.
The name and e-mail address of the user that started the order is listed in the body of the message.
mailshared This is the label (for example, "You are requested to Collaborate on Order:") placed directly before the order number for the shared order. This line appears in the body of the message. mailsharedby This is the label (for example, "Requester:") placed directly before the details of the person who last worked on the shared order (including name, phone number and e-mail address). This line appears in the body of the message. mailsubject This is the subject that is shown for the message. - Click the name in the Text Name column to edit the value of that item.
- Save your changes when you are done.
- Continue working with these text items until you have finished configuring and/or translating each of them.
