Change order

Change Order allows Infor e-Commerce users to modify customer orders that are already been submitted to M3 BE. The user can choose what order to modify from the Order History page. From the Change Order Details page, the user can edit selected fields, delete order lines, or add items from the shopping cart to the current order being edited. Once the changes are made, the resulting order details are retrieved immediately from M3 BE for diplay in Infor e-Commerce.

Only orders with invoice as payment method can be changed. The order status that Infor e-Commerce displays is the same as that of M3 BE. Any changes in the order through Infor e-Commerce are applied as long as M3 BE allows such changes. Change Order is also not available through XML gateway ordering.

You cannot edit subitems of kit items in Infor e-Commerce even if you can do so in M3 BE. However, changes in subitems made through M3 BE are shown in Infor e-Commerce.

When M3 BE rejects requests for order line modification, Infor e-Commerce will issue a message that said order lines can no longer be modified. If the order line cannot be modified for some reason, the user can contact the merchant through email.

You need to enable the Change Order feature element for Change Order to be accessible by users. This access is provided as default for Reseller and Reseller Admin roles.

Note: The Change Order feature is available only when connected to M3 BE version 13.1 and later.
