B2B and B2C layout differences

The Infor e-Commerce Customer Center in B2C setup shares the same elements with the B2B setup but with the following differences:

Advanced Search The Filter area on the Items page provides fields to enter the Item Number, Customer Item Number, Item Name. The Advanced Search option also provides Category and Manufacturer lists. The Advance Search option is available on the item list page for each category. Clicking this button displays a search form to enter the Item Keyword, Brand Name, and Category.
Brands NA The category list is extended with a sibling list including brands. When the Items page is reloaded for a brand, the category list expands to show the selected brand.
Breadcrumb style of navigation

Breadcrumb style of navigation is used from the Gallery page to the Item list page.

For example: (Top level)>Tools>Painting>Brushes

Budget

The budget feature is used to create budgets for a specific time frame. It is displayed as a quick link on the home page. It can also be accessed from the footer of the page on My Company > Budget.

Note: The Budget feature is displayed for roles with the "Budget Admin" feature element.

Display currency

The currency in which you want to view the item prices can be selected from the Currency drop-down list present below the Language drop-down list on the footer of the home page.

When a user selects a display currency, the prices are calculated based on the exchange rate for that currency and displayed.

Note: The Currency drop-down list is displayed for roles having the "Display Currency Selector" feature element.

Favorite Items

The quick link to favorite items, a heart-shaped icon, can be found at the right area of the screen.

Favorite items can also be accessed from the Favorite Items tab on the home page.

A link to favorite items can also be found at the footer of the page.

Items can be added to the favorite list from the Item Details page.

  • View manufacturer details

Language selection

This option is shown as flags at the footer of the page.

To change the language of the site, click on the relevant flag icon.

Market Type Users registering with the Customer Center are assigned the default B2B market "B2B Worldwide." The Shop reflects item prices for the default market.

Users registering with the Customer Center must select a market relevant to them. The Shop reflects item prices based on the market selected by users.

If a user does not explicitly select any market from the drop-down list, the user is assigned the default B2C market "B2C Worldwide."
Newsletter This option can be accessed from the footer menu. This option can be accessed from the footer menu.
On Sale category NA On Sale category is listed along with other categories on the Shop categories menu.
