Run time calculation

As a customer works through the order-submission process, the customer has to select a shipping method from the list of shipping methods that are available to the segment.

Note: If, for some reason, the merchant has not configured any shipping methods that apply to the customer, the order cannot be submitted. It is the merchant’s responsibility to ensure that shipping methods exist for all customers.

The shipping fee is specified and calculated without tax. Tax is added to the shipping fee based on a specified tax rate defined for shipping fees to the country of destination. If the user is not taxable, no tax is added.

If the shipping fee is zero, it is not displayed on order pages.
