Currencies and markets

In the Customer Center, both registered and guest users can select the currency in which they want to view item prices. The Currency drop-down list contains all currencies defined in the Shop > Currencies area of the Business Center. This is called the display currency. The shop displays item prices in the currency selected by the user from this list. However, users are charged in the basic currency (currency associated with the user’s market) and not the display currency.

• Single users or consumer users – These users are charged in the basic currency of the market to which the user belongs. This currency is defined in the Market Details page in the Business Center.

• Resellers or customer users – Each customer is associated with a market. All users belonging to a customer inherit the market settings from their customer. Hence, these users are charged in the basic currency of the market to which the customer belongs.
