Creating an aftermarket sale of warranty

The starting point is the customer list. See Starting the workflow from the customer list.
  1. From the list, select a quotation.
  2. On the Search & Create tab, click the Warranty subtab.
    The available extended warranties for the selected equipment are listed in 'Quotation. Add Warranty' (QUS113).
  3. From the list, select a warranty record.
  4. To create a quotation line, click the New quotation line button.
    The Quotation lines subtab to the right is updated with the new quotation line, but you may have to refresh the display.
  5. To transfer the quotation to an order, click the Create order button on the Quotation lines subtab to the right.
  6. Click the Fulfillment tab.
  7. Select the newly released quotation.
    The list at the bottom shows order information related to the selected quotation.
  8. To open 'Customer Order. Open Line' (OIS101), select Related > Customer Order. Open Line or press Ctrl+11.
