Configuring basic information for service records

  1. Open 'Quotation. Add Services' (QUS114).
  2. Specify the product number together with, if it is used, the structure type, and the service name, then click Create.
    The E panel is displayed.
  3. Specify the status of the record:
    Option Description
20 When creating the quotation, the sales executives can use this record.
10 The record is still being prepared.
90 The record has expired or is no longer required.
  4. Optionally, specify a number for the maintenance customer order agreement.
This information is used for the installation service. The installation service is normally linked to a valid maintenance customer order (MCO) agreement. Generic MCO agreements, that is, agreements that are not linked to a customer, can also be used. If you do not specify a number for the maintenance customer order agreement, then the commission service is linked to the maintenance agreement record of the quotation.
The Internal cust field is used in the maintenance customer order and moved to the Payer field for internal billing purposes. This field is checked to ensure that customer type 7 is used.
If the service is linked to the equipment in 'Item. Open' (MMS001/J), then a configuration service is automatically added to the quotation.
  5. If you want a record to be automatically added to the quotation upon creation, select the Default record check box.
If you select this check box, then the OEM code details from the service definition (MOS300/J) are displayed.
To differentiate between new and used equipment, you can choose to use a default record based on the category of the equipment. To do this, select '2-New' or '3-Used' in the Default record field.
  6. To save the record, click Next.
