Miscellaneous charges for purchase orders

To add a miscellaneous charge to a purchase quotation, select RELATED > Add Miscellaneous in 'Quotation. Open Lines ' (QUS101). A filter is applied on miscellaneous IDs that have a cost element defined, as these are the types of charges used for purchasing.

Costing element in (QUS118) is used to define a costing element from 'Costing Element. Open' (PPS280). You can use only Fixed Price costing elements 10 and 12. When the purchase cost element contains predefined cost prices in 'Costing Element. Enter Values' (PPS282), the cost price is retrieved into 'Quotation. Open Miscellaneous Costs' (QUS108) by default, using the defined objects on the cost element. You can adjust the cost price manually.

When Budget only is selected for a miscellaneous record, you can use the record on the quotation to simulate potential costs, but the record is not transferred to the planned purchase order.

The calculated or set cost values are copied to 'Planned PO. Connect Charges' (PPS172). The defined cost elements ID per miscellaneous record and Next available sequence number are used as input. The sequence number is based on the range defined in 'Settings - Purchasing' (CRS780), parameter '65- Reserved sequence number for PO charges - internal sales'.
