Updating the product

After the product has been added, you can edit the record to change the details and add information.

  1. In the Equipment Quotation Detail window, select a product on the Product tab and click the Change button. Alternatively, right-click the product and select Related > Change.
    In the first panel, you can update the fields that are available during the creation of the product record.
  2. Click Next.
    An additional panel shows the price and cost information.
  3. You can manually update the VAT or sales tax amount, the VAT or sales tax currency, the exchange rate type, and the exchange rate of the product.
    These fields are only for information, but can be printed on the quotation output.
  4. Optionally, if the equipment is in stock, you can manually update the product sales price.
    Note: If this information has already been specified in the Configurator feature, then this field is locked.
  5. To save the changes and return to the Equipment Quotation Detail window, click Next.
