Configuring the workflow

You can now assemble all required components into a workflow in M3 DMP. See Creating a workflow.

  1. From the menu, select Data > Workflows.
  2. On Configuration, specify this information:
    Name
    Specify the name of the workflow configuration.
  3. In Action, specify this information:
    Export File
    Use the created configuration to export the Dlin data.
    Run Script
    Run the script to add the four required columns and generate the DLExport.csv file.
    Export Data Lake
    Send the data from DLExport.csv to the Data Lake table DMPRF1.
    Wait for Server Tasks
    Allow time for the server to complete communication with Data Lake.
  4. Click Run.
    Note: When export volumes are large, using a single favorite view and send operation may overload the application and cause each step to run slowly. In such cases, we recommend that you split the data into smaller sets by using a global filter and running the workflow multiple times.
