Exporting to M3 BE Dataset

Export M3 Dataset exports demand planning data from M3 Demand Planner to M3 Business Engine through REST API integration, enabling forecast and planning information to be transferred for downstream business processes. To enable this feature, set the REST API integration method in Settings > Data.

Export M3 Dataset supports the generation and retention of export payload files. For MT (cloud) and local MT deployments, export payload files are saved in the SubSysFiles database table and can be viewed or downloaded from Menu > Data Administration > DB Files under Export Process. On-premise deployments continue to store export files on disk files exclusively. See DB Files

File generation is controlled by the ExportFilesRetentionHours setting. When this setting is greater than 0, payload files are generated for the specified period. After the retention period expires, the setting is automatically reset to 0 and file generation stops until it is reconfigured. File retention is controlled by ExportFilesRetentionTimestamp. Files are automatically deleted 24 hours after the ExportFilesRetentionHours expire. Export files are stored in separate folders for each export run, and obsolete records that are no longer associated with an export run are removed automatically. See DB Settings.
