Creating a DMP Dataset

  1. Select Datasets > Create.
  2. In Create Dataset, specify this information:
    General
    Specify the M3 BE Company, Division, and Name. Change the default Dataset (M3 BE) or specify the File Name (M3 BE).
    Budgets
    Leave the field blank, or specify a different budget, and then click Insert. To remove a default budget, select the budget, and then click Delete.
    Keys
    Select up to six different key values from the list. Specify a value in Key1, Key2, Key 3, Key4, Key5, and Key6.
    Periods
    Specify the standard time periods for which you can change or predefine data, such as weeks, periods, and months. Select Period Type from the list.
    Data Type
    Select an option from the list.
    Integration
    Select Standard Total Forecast or Total Forecast from the list.
  3. Click Create.
    The list of available datasets is displayed, including the newly created dataset.
