Configuring Simple AUM

Simple AUM uses a Numeric Key in the dataset to store the value of a multiplication factor.

A Numeric Key must exist in the dataset. You can configure this in Datasets > Properties > Keys > Numeric for Keys. If the numeric is updatable, then it can be updated in the grid.

These are the steps to configure a Simple AUM for each data type or basic measure:

  1. From the menu, select Data > Simple AUM.
  2. On Simple AUM, right-click a data type and select Define Simple AUM.
  3. Specify this information:
    AUM Name
    Specify the AUM name.
    AUM Description
Optionally, specify a description for the AUM.
    AUM Measure name
    Specify the AUM Measure name.
    Dataset
Select a dataset from the list.
    Budget Version
Specify a value for the sales budget that serves as the baseline for collaborative demand planning and forecasting.

    Numeric Key
Specify a numeric key from the list.
    Integer
If you do not select this option, the integer value is set to False.
  4. Click OK.
To import the factors, setup the import for Numeric Key in Menu > Data > Numeric/Text for Keys Setup.

See Defining Numeric/Text for Keys and Importing Numeric/Text for Keys.
