Extra Keys

In the DMP dataset, you can define and name up to six extra keys that only exists in Dataset Property. In the Extra Key section, you can filter and define groups for extra keys. The benefit of using extra keys is that you can easily modify it in the Grid and use it efficiently for data filtering.

You can define Key Groups and Key Patterns in the same way as basic keys. See Key Group Setup.

These are examples of returned records with extra keys:

  • NOT [PROMO] AND NULL

This returns records where the extra key is not exactly PROMO but inclusive of all empty extra key records.

  • NOT [PROMO]

This returns records where the extra key is not exactly PROMO but exclusive of empty extra key records.

  • NOT NULL

This returns records where the extra key is not empty.

Fast Filters for Basic Keys, Extra Keys, and Key State (PLMKey) are retained when reopening a Favorite View. This ensures that the last selected filter group is automatically applied, streamlining user workflows. The selected Fast Filter group is stored per user.

For basic keys and extra keys, the display format is:

8 » BC1 : [G]

Group ID + » + Group Name + : [G]

For PLMKey, the display format is:

10000 + Group ID
