Creating a workflow

  1. From the menu, select Data > Workflows.
  2. On Configuration, specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name for the workflow configuration.
    Description
    Optionally, specify a description for the workflow configuration.
  3. On Option, select Stop on error, Prevent other workflows, or both.
    If Stop on error is selected, the workflow stops running if an error occurs.
    If Prevent other workflows is selected, starting another workflow is disabled if the specific workflow is still running.
  4. Specify this information:
    Action
    In the Action field, select an action from the list.
    After you define an action, the Execute check box is automatically selected. Clear the check box if you prefer not to run the action.
    Parameter
    In the Parameter field, select the applicable parameter detail from the list.
    Note: You can define multiple actions and parameters within the workflow. Additionally, you can use the arrow buttons on the right side of the grid to arrange the sequence of actions.
  5. Click Run.
  6. Optionally, click View log file to open the event log file of the workflow.
  7. Click Close.
