The administrator generates a forecast package for each forecaster. The package includes the required M3 DMP datasets and other information, such as user rights, user domains, and other details. The administrator places these packages in the package area of the M3 DMP server.

Forecasters who have a connection to the M3 DMP server can download the packages directly from the server. For forecasters who do not have a connection to the M3 DMP server, the administrator can distribute the forecast package as a compressed file.

Based on a forecast package, a forecaster can create a Market Forecast Proposal. The forecaster returns the proposal to the administrator as a forecast package that includes the proposal. The administrator completes this process in the same way that the forecast package is received. Upload the package directly to the M3 DMP server or as a compressed file.
