About Time marks
The Time marks feature enables the administrator define a time range in which you can change data.
You can create two types of time marks:
- are visible to all the users.
- are visible to the user who created the time mark.
On server and central versions, both public and private options are available. On package and local versions, the public option is disabled.
If a time horizon based on a time mark (relative) is changed from private to public, the associated time mark is also changed to public. A change of a time mark from public to private is rejected if:
- Public time horizon is using the time mark
- Time horizon owned by another user is using the time mark
