Defining Servers settings

  1. From the menu, select Setup > Settings > Servers.
  2. Specify this information:
    DMP Server
    Name (URL)
    Specify the URL. You can contact your IT department for information on the URL
    Load on-premise DMPMT ini File
    Click Load to load the on-premise DMPMT ini file.

    When installing or updating an OP tenant with MT services as On-Premise using the M3DmpServiceSetupMT program, a file with the format DMPMT_<T>.ini is created.

    You can share this file with users for simplified client configuration to establish a connection to the server.

    For example, Tenant T1 is installed using M3DmpServiceSetupMT, and a file named DMPMT_T1.ini is created. You can share this file with other users, who can then open DMP without logging in, select Setup > Settings > Server, and click Load to import the settings into the client data area.. The Name (URL) is automatically updated to MT://T1.

    Note: This option is used for OP tenants migrated to the MT structure.
    Package Download
    Download directory
    Specify the download directory for the forecast packages.
    ION
    Product Support BOD (ISA)
    If the Product Support BOD (ISA) check box is selected, DMP generates the BOD file into the data store folder (XML files). You must install the support assistant on the machine and configure to pick up the XML BOD files and set it to Infor.
    Data Store
    Specify the folder for ISA Data Store.
  3. Click OK to close the dialog box or select another tab to continue.
