Importing from M3 BE Dataset

  1. From the menu, click Version Control then select a version.
  2. Select Actions > Import.
  3. On Select Dataset to Import, specify this information:
    Configuration
    Select the type of import from the list.
    Options
    Select a separator character from the list.
    Import Parameters
    Specify the import parameters and define the location for the import file.
  4. Click Import.
    The progress bar shows the completion status of the import.
  5. Click Refresh.
  6. Click View Log File to view the import event based on the Log level defined in Defining Logging settings.
    Note: Before you import data to M3 DMP, you must generate a dataset containing keys and accumulators in the M3 Application Server using OSS401. A dataset remains active and continues to be updated while in M3 DMP.

    This functionality is only enabled for administrators.
