User Management Rights

In DMP, roles are assigned for each user in versions and dataset. The user roles have varying access to the features inside the application.

This table shows the roles you can assign to each user:

Roles Description
Administrator Can access all the features in open and closed versions of the application.
Central user Can access certain features that are used for forecasting and budgeting.

A central user is connected to a central database and can only access features if the version assigned to the user is currently active.

Online and Offline user Can only access data that the user needs.

A user assigned to this role only has access to features that can modify or update the data.

For Administrator and Central user roles, you must define the user management rights to limit access to features based on the role of each user. Configuring the user management rights secures the process of updating the data and accessing the external systems in the application.
