Copying a Favorite View Data

To copy a Favorite View Data, select Menu > Data > Favorite View Data, and set Action to Copy. Copying a Favorite View Data copies data from an existing budget/data type (measure) from one Favorite View to an existing budget/data type (measure) in another Favorite View. The source Favorite View controls which Favorite Views you can select as destination Favorite Views.

When copying a Favorite View data, these scenarios can occur:

• All Keys in common – The copy is performed directly.
• Source contains more Keys – The source Favorite View is automatically aggregated to the common key level before the copy.
• Destination contains more Keys – Common level data is automatically distributed to the destination level. Three different distribution methods are available.

The copy function only copies data to matching keys. No keys are created.
