Management Rights for Administrator role

This table shows the user management rights that are available for the administrator role:

Manage Workflow	Enables access to Menu > Data > Workflows and to these actions: Run workflows Create, edit, or delete existing workflows
Manage Import	Enables access to import data from M3 datasets, file interface, or M3 promotions.
Manage Export	Enables access to export data to M3 datasets, file interface, or M3 promotions.
Manage Triggers	Enables access to M3 Triggers.
Manage Alternative units of measurement	Enables access to Menu > Data > AUM Setup and to these setup options: AUM Define AUM Conversion AUM Import AUM Deploy
Manage AUM Factor Edit	Enables access to Menu > Data > AUM Factor Edit. The AUM factors are edited in a special grid view.
Manage Attribute	Enables access to Menu > Data > Attribute Setup and to these setup options: Attribute Define Attribute Import
Manage Extra Keys	Enables access to Menu > Data > Extra Key and to these setup options: Extra Key Define Extra Key Import Change Extra Keys in pivot sheet
Manage Forecast Methods	Enables access to these features in Data: Forecast Method Define Create Seasonal index Change Forecast Methods in pivot sheet
Manage Forecast Calculation	Enables the user to calculate a forecast using favorite views or pivot sheet.
Manage Key State	Enables access to these features: Menu > Lists > Key State Dataset > Phase out Change Key State in pivot sheet
Manage Phantoms	Enables access to Dataset > Phantoms to copy the phantom structure from the pivot sheet.
Manage Promotions	Enables access to Menu > Data > Promotions List. To access the Promotion header and lines, double-click the Promotion key or Item number column.
Manage Scripts	Enables access to Menu > Lists > Scripts. If this right is enabled, the user can also access the scripts in the pivot sheets.
Manage Numeric/Text for Keys	Enables access to Menu > Data > Numerics and texts for keys for modification.
Manage Data Copy	Enables access to these features in Data: Favorite View Data Dataset Data Expand Dataset Data Favorite Views and Scoreboard
Manage Setup Format	Enables access to Setup > Format.
Manage Setup Settings	Enables access to Setup > Setting.
Manage Time marks	Enables access to Lists > Time Marks.
Manage Changes and SA	Enables access to these features in List: Change lists Sales activities Change categories External References
Manage User Dataset	Enables access to Menu > Users > User Dataset Access.
Manage User Data Domain	Enables access to Menu > Users > User Domains.
Manage Version New-Copy-Delete	Enables access to these action menus: New empty version Copy version Delete version Save Version Load version Compact database
Manage Budget Deletion	Enables access to the Delete budgets feature in Menu > Data > Budgets.
Manage Phase out Deletion	Enables access to the Delete Key Permanently feature in phase outs in Datasets > Phase out.
Manage Simple AUMs	Enables access to menu point for Menu > Data > Simple AUM By default, this right is enabled and only available for users with administrator role.
Manage Data Administration	Enables access to the three topmost DB screens in Menu > Data Administration: DB Files DB Settings DB Options By default, this right is disabled and only available for users with administrator role.
Manage Add & Remove Synchronization	Enables access to add and remove files from the synchronization process screen in Menu > Version > Synchronization. By default, this right is enabled for users with administrator role and disabled for users with forecaster central role.
Manage Upload Synchronization	Causes files, that have changes, to be uploaded in the server. By default, this right is switched on for users with administrator role and switched off for users with forecaster central role. Note: Both administrator role and forecaster central role will have download synchronization. During synchronization, a spinning yellow arrow icon is displayed in the lower right corner.
Manage Tenant Settings	Enables access to Tenant Settings in Menu > Data Administration. By default, this right is disabled and only available for users with administrator role.
Manage Server Logs	Enables access to Server Logs in Menu > Data Administration. By default, this right is disabled and only available for users with administrator role.
Manage Feature Toggles	Enables the administrators only to have access to the Feature Toggles dialog box. This will limit who can modify this feature. Note: You must have Manage Data Administration to select this option.
Execute Workflow	By default, this right is enabled but can be disabled. When Manage Workflow is enabled, this option is automatically enabled. If Manage Workflow is disabled, you can set this option on or off. If both rights are disabled, users cannot run workflows from the shortcut or favorite view action menus. In this case, a message is displayed if you cannot execute a workflow.
Manage Server Workflow	Enables access to Server Workflows in Menu > Data Administration. Note: This feature is only available for Multi-tenant Cloud deployments.
Manage Schedule Server Task	Enables access to Schedule Server Tasks in Menu > Data Administration. Note: This feature is only available for Multi-tenant Cloud deployments.

To disable the importing and exporting of data through an ODBC and MI connection, a user assigned to an administrative role must disable the access to these rights:

Manage AUM
Manage Attribute
Manage Extra Keys
Manage Scripts
The access to this right must be disabled if the script is configured for data import through ODBC connection.
