Adding promotion cannibalization

  1. From the menu, select List > Promotion.
  2. Select or highlight a promotion line.
  3. Right-click and select Properties or from the bottom menu, click Promotion Line Properties.
  4. Select the DMP tab.
  5. Specify this information:
    Cannibalization
    Select to enable promotion cannibalization. The Cannibalization ration and Related item options are enabled.
    Cannibalization percentage
    Specify the percentage on which the amount is subtracted.
    Cannibalization ratio
    Specify the number of times the percentage is multiplied.
    Related item
    Select from the list other promotion lines to cannibalize.
  6. In Settings, specify this information:
    Not Exported
    Select this option to exclude the promotion line from the Export to M3 action.
  7. Click OK.
