Example of Margin Percentage

This example outlines two ways to calculating margin percentage using subtotal Average or subtotal Calc. It is possible that when configuring for SubTotal Average, the result is not what the user normally would expect. Therefore configuring for SubTotal Calc might be more in line with what user normally expect from this type of calculation.

Margin percentage configured as calculated measure (M1-M2)/M2 with Pct% and SubTotal Average selected:
