Creating a phantom structure

Follow these procedures to create a new structure from a pivot sheet.

  1. Select the group level or individual records. Right-click and select Create Phantoms Structure or click Phantom.
  2. On Select budgets, select zero or any budget that exists in the dataset, then click OK.
  3. On Phantom Manager, click Group and specify the name of the new group. For example, C03.
  4. Click Update.
    When specifying a new group, the status is changed to New and the Data column shows the available data that is copied if the desired data types are selected.
  5. Select Data From Time Horizon as the dataset range and select the data types Demand to be copied.
    We recommend to copy the current forecast CFOR, MADJ, and MFOR.
  6. Click OK.
    The phantoms are created and the data is copied. You can now inspect the dataset through any favorite view. The phantoms are available with demand data from the original group.
