Dataset properties
You can access the
Dataset Properties dialog by selecting
from the main
M3 DMP menu.
The following tabs provide further functionality to Dataset Properties controls:

| General | Shows General Dataset properties and controls the Time Range settings for data in the selected dataset. |
| CTH/Periods | Controls Changeable Time Horizon |
| Keys | Controls which
basic and extra keys are visible for the dataset.
Note: A Demand Planner dataset can hold 20 numeric values and 10
text values at key record level. If you are an administrative user, you can
import or export these keys. Ensure that you set the user dataset access to
manage numeric and text for keys.
To edit these keys in Favorite View, ensure that you have the editing capabilities for numerics and text for keys. |
| Data Types | Shows the different values and
measures in a dataset.
This property shows the ID, short name, selector, transaction type, and name of the selected dataset. Formats enables you to modify the format that is defined for a dataset. |
| Attributes | Controls which
Attribute information (Column or Description) is visible in the dataset.
Note: Description is always visible as a fast filter.
