Editing conversion factors

You can edit the conversion factors at the same level as they were imported. For example, if you import the AUM factors at the Item Group Warehouse level, you can only edit them at that level.

  1. Select the cells that requires an update and right-click or press the space bar on the keyboard to open the Change dialog box.

The changes to the AUM factors are not stored in scenario parts. They are stored directly in the AUM Details table. The new factors are automatically deployed to all dataset that uses the AUM after the AUM Factor edit screen.

  2. Click OK.
Note:
  • If the applied changes are valid only at the beginning of the next cycle, select No and use the AUM Deploy screen to redeploy when the next cycle is about to begin.

Also, if the user domain filter of a forecaster is aligned with the keys specified for importing conversion factors, the forecaster only sees conversion factors affecting records within the defined user domain. The user domain filter ensures this.

  • Cell factors edited in a package are not updated on the M3 DMP Server. In the pivot sheet, you cannot calculate using AUM on cells without a cell factor or on a group of cells where one or more cells are without a factor. The cells without a cell factor are displayed in a beige color.
