Package Error Dialog

Under the Package Setup Information you have the following
options to change the Package Setup Information to correct the problem:
- User Name
- Check your user name and make the necessary corrections.
- Password
- Check your password and make the necessary corrections.
- Protocol
- Make sure you have selected the correct protocol: FTP or HTTP.
- Package Path
- Secure that the package path is correct and make corrections.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a protocol used to upload files from a workstation to a FTP server or download files from a FTP server to a workstation. When ftp appears in a URL it means that the user is connecting to a file server and not a Web server and that some form of file transfer is going to take place. Most FTP servers require the user to log on to the server in order to transfer files.

Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is a protocol used to transfer files from a Web server onto a browser in order to view a Web page. When http appears in a URL it means that the user is connecting to a Web server and not a file server.

- Package URL
- Secure the URL is correct and make corrections.
- Use the Test Package Site button to check whether the package site selected is correct.

Select the
OK button to return to
return to receiving and installing your forecast package.
Note: This error dialog occurs when the Receive Forecast Package procedure is unable to use the Package Setup Information to locate, receive or install the forecast package.
